He is passionate about innovations and driven by having an impact on clinical care; and he has been working with largest Healthtech companies as well as several start-ups on product developments, investment strategy and market development for devices and softwares.
He completed his MSc and a PhD fellowship in Cardiovascular Science and Engineering at the Imperial College and Hospitals London. He joined the National Heart Centre Singapore in 2013, setting-up and leading a Medtech team as Principal Investigator, with a focus on bench to bedside research and innovations to treat heart diseases.
He has published more than 140 publications, editorials, patents and book chapters in the field of cardiovascular interventions and has received several international awards for innovation and research contributions.
