Prof. Ömer Göktekin is a well-experienced Cardiologist at Memorial BahÇelievler Hospital.
He has more than 23 years of experience in the field of Cardiology.
He graduated from Istanbul University CerrahpaŞa Medical Faculty in 1992 followed by ‘Cardiology Specialization Training’ from Specialist Siyami Ersek Pulmonary and Cardiovascular Surgery Education and Research Hospital in 1997.
He has papers published in international peer-reviewed journals.
He is actively associated with various organizations including Board Member of Turkish Society of Cardiology, Fellow of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), President of Turkish Working group of Interventional Cardiology, President of the elect of Turkish Working group of Interventional Cardiology, Secretary of Turkish Working Group of Interventional Cardiology, Secretary of Turkish Working Group of Adult Congenital Heart Disease, Fellow of European Society of Cardiology (FESC), and “Diploma of European Cardiologist” by ESC.
Prior to working with Memorial Healthcare Group, he has worked with several prestigious medical institutions across Turkey.
