MacKenna Roberts serves as General Counsel to Choice TeleMed – healthcare technology and services company focused on drug development. Choice leverages a curated team of esteemed, leading U.K. specialist physicians to provide medical imaging expertise worldwide through an innovative platform in support of clinical trials.
Previously, she worked at CASMI as Intellectual Property Specialist (Emerging Biotechnologies). MacKenna was the IP lead for stem cell and cellular immunotherapy projects with the International Stem Cell Consortium, an initiative coordinated by Oxford, Harvard Stem Cell Institute and CASMI. The initiative responded to commercially pressing challenges posed by world leading academic and industry funding partners, such as GE Healthcare, CIRM, Lonza and NIH.
Co-author and IP specialist for the Open Innovation business models in the life sciences project funded by the Wellcome Trust evaluating 40 leading global initiatives.
She also served as Intellectual property advisor to a specialist global life science consultancy expediting the healthcare translation of cell and gene technologies -IP ASSET VENTURES Ltd.
