Dr Thomas is a Vascular Surgeon with over 10 years clinical experience in the field. He is a member of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and Australia New Zealand Society for Vascular Surgery.

Dr Thomas graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2005, with Honours in science and medicine. During his training to become a surgeon, he was involved in vascular science research, with publications produced in several international journals. He is regularly invited to speak at both local and international vascular conferences. Dr Thomas completed his vascular surgical clinical training at Royal Perth Hospital, Westmead Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital and Prince of Wales Hospital. He also undertook specialised endovascular training in Germany and Italy prior to taking up his consultant position.

He currently works at Prince of Wales Public and Private Hospital’s as well as at Sydney Children’s Hospital. He is a conjoint senior lecturer in Vascular Surgery at the University of New South Wales. Dr Thomas is actively involved in training junior vascular surgeons at these facilities and is Supervisor of Training. Dr Thomas also practices in Bowral, NSW, and performs operations at the Southern Highlands Private Hospital.

Dr Thomas believes in a friendly, “down to earth” approach to his patients, and is committed to highest standard of care.
