Levi Shapiro is the Managing Partner of Life Science Vision Capital (www.lsvcapital.com), a $50 million Israeli health tech investment fund addressing pharma, medical device and digital health. He is a prominent figure in Israel’s health technology sector, spanning investment, academia, and community leadership.

After working at Gemini Israel Ventures, Mr. Shapiro served as a General Partner in the Digital Health fund of Veritas Ventures.  Independently, he is an Angel investor, including several Board Member roles.

In academia, Mr. Shapiro oversees the Digital Health course in Hebrew University’s BioMED MBA program. Other prominent educational, governmental and non-profit organizations have licensed the course, including Technion, Hanoi Medical University, etc.

As a community builder, Mr. Shapiro is the Founder of mHealth Israel (9,000 members), supporting Israel’s health technology sector. Activities include educational seminars, accredited learning, scouting / co-development programs for multinationals, Challenges, international collaborations and a local Newsletter (22,000+). In a career spanning the US, Japan, China Italy and Israel, Mr. Shapiro launched new business units (IBM), new global products and services (Toyota) and a variety of technology startups. He is a graduate of Tulane (BA), Cornell (Asian Studies) and MIT (MBA).
