I did my medical studies in Helsinki University and specialized in radiology in Tampere, Finland. Since 2001 I have been working at Turku University Hospital, Finland.
After performing neurointerventions for almost 20 years, I still have a strong passion for my job. Having the opportunity to start with the new devices and technology is one of the best parts of my professional life today, especially in intracranial aneurysm treatment.
My current position is the head of the department of interventional radiology so I have the chance to follow very closely the newest achievements in the whole interventional radiology field.
