Professor Bagrat Alekyan is a Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Head of department of Cardiosurgical methods of diagnosis and treatment of heart and vessels of Institute of Cardiosurgery of Moscow, President of the Russian Scientific Society of Endovascular surgeons, Academician.
Education:
- In 1974 graduated from the faculty of medicine, Yerevan State Medical University .
Work activity:
- In 1975 worked at Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery.
- Since 1992, he is the head of the department of examination and treatment of heart and blood vessels.
- Since 1999, he is the president of the Intensive Surgeons department of the Russian Association of Cardiovascular Surgeons.
- Since 2002, he is president of Scientific Society of Radiologists and Intravenous Surgeons.
Achievements:
- In 1986 -The Doctor of Medical Sciences.
- In 1993 -The Professor.
- In 1997 received the medal of “The 850th Anniversary of Moscow”.
- In 2001 received the Burakovsky Prize of Russian Federation.
- In 2003 received the Medal of Mkhitar Heratsi of the Republic of Armenia.
