Dr. Jakob Nowotny was born and raised in Munich, Germany
Dr. Jakob Nowotny was born and raised in Munich, Germany and completed his dual undergraduate degree at Yeshiva University in New York City. After successful research projects at Bar Ilan University and the Technion, Dr. Nowotny continued on to earn his Medical Degree from the Medical School for International Health at Ben Gurion University in collaboration with Columbia University Medical Center. In 2014 he commenced a General Surgery Residency at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s-Roosevelt in New York City and completed his Vascular Surgery Residency in 2020 at the Hadassah-Hebrew University Medical Center in Jerusalem, Israel where he currently works as an attending physician in the Vascular Surgery Department.
Dr. Nowotny has been a key presenter at several conferences and has authored numerous scientific papers. He remains actively involved in clinical and lab research.
