Prof. Flavio L. Ribichini is Full Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine and Director of the Division of Cardiology Azienda Ospedaliera Universitaria Integrata di Verona and Director of the School of Cardiology, University of Verona.

It is the Hub Center for acute heart failure and heart transplantation. The Cardiovascular Interventional Unit performs coronary and peripheral interventions (over 2000 diagnostic and 800 interventional cases per year), with a 24 hours emergency service for the city area of Verona. It is the Provincial referring super-hub centre for primary angioplasty, shock and ECMO support, paediatric invasive cardiology, and structural cardiology. Is the Regional referring centre for renal denervation, and is a training centre for visitor cardiologists interested in IVUS, FFR-iFR, rotational atherectomy, TAVI, mitral, and peripheral interventions.
